previously on Lost S05E07 "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham"

Lost never fails to amazed me. It's just gets better and better every episode. Not really a fan of Locke-centric episode that much, but this was an exception. Terry O'Quinn's acting is superb.

Locke's fateful mission in the island is revealed, he must persuade the Oceanic Six to get back to the island. Locke struggles to convince those who left to go back to the island. Eventually meeting Sayid,Hurley,Kate,Walt and Jack which is sort of a reunion. Just when Locke is about to kill himself, Ben shows up and convince him not to do anything stupid. I did'nt expect how Ben killed Locke in a well done manner as Locke/Bentham was really gasping for air.Whew
! Two new intriguing characters Caesar and Ilana were also introduced in this episode.

Overall the episode was definitely full of excitement and interesting plot twist. Still shaken with this one as I have nothing more to say.........next on Lost: LaFleur.

BOTTOM LINE: "THIS IS WHY I EXACTLY WATCHED THIS SERIES"

previously on Chuck S02E14 Chuck Versus The Bestfriend

The spy plot took a a bit of backseat in this one, which was more than fine with me, as it focus
on Chuck-Morgan storyline development. Feeling bitter Morgan and the Buy More boys plans to
stalk/spy Anna. Their "spying" eventually leads Chuck to convince the Triad that Morgan is not a threat just a loser stalking Anna after.

As Morgan was caught again by the Triad, Chuck run off with the bomb from the Chinese ambassador's car and use a remote control device to drive the Nerd Herd car. That scene eventually lead to Sarah bursting into tears as she assumed that Chuck was in there after the explosion. A pretty emotional scene yet it only lasted a few seconds as Chuck popped up out of nowhere and you could see the relief on Sarah's face. How many times will Sarah think Chuck is dead before she finally tells him how she feels?

The Jeffster plot provide a lighter and hilarious note as the show closes out with their rendition
of Toto's "Africa". Probably the best scene in this episode is at the end wherein Sarah said she had no one to care about the way Chuck and Morgan cared about each other, Chuck gladly replied he cared about her.

where amazing happens

Devin Harris made an unbelievable half-court heave at the horn to snap the New Jersey Nets five-game losing skid at the expense of the Philadelphia 76ers . Probably the best winning buzzer beater of the '08-'09 season.

previously on Heroes S03E17 "Cold Wars"

This episode picks up right after Building 26 as Matt,Peter and Mohinder take Noah for questioning using Matt's ability. Nathan's plans was revealed when Matt sees into Noah's past. An interesting way to explain what's happening now, and a smart way to do it so that it make sense in a way. Matt finds out that Mohinder know about what Noah was involved in, which leads to a tussle between the two allowing Noah to escape.

But Peter gets back in time to take Noah. Noah's past revealed that despite his lies and ways, he does really care for the people who don't hurt anyone. The Hunter wants Nathan out of the way so that he can round up all the super-humans which is very predictable in my opinion.

Overall this episode provided a lot of revelations into how things came to this point, which I have been longing since this chapter started. This is a major improvement over the first few episodes in terms of where the series is heading. One thing that still kept me thinking is how in the world did Matt acquire his powers to paint the future. Is it in the food that he ate in the previous chapter? As far as I can remember Hiro also ate that shit and how come he can't draw the future.

Just my luck

A staggering 320 million will become the biggest single jackpot in the history of Phillipine Lottery after no one secured the six-digit combination of the 6/49 Super Lotto draw last Thursday.

If I'll ever win the lottery tonight, I will:

-Thank the Lord
- I'd probably keep it secret as possible so I could still live a normal life.
-Invest in a variety of stocks
-Globe Trek around the world
-Donate to charities..foundations..etc

This is of course if I win a huge amount. And tataya siguro muna ako.Hahaha

Buti pa si kuya alam na ang lalabas na mga numbers para sa mamaya.....

thanks Jehz for the photo.LOL

Best Picture
  • The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
  • Frost Nixon

Best Director
  • Danny Boyle -Slumbook Millionaire
  • Stephen Daldry - The Reader

Best Actress
  • Anne Hathaway - Rachel Getting Married
  • Angelina Jolie - Changeling
  • Melissa Leo - Frozen River
  • Meryl Streep - Doubt

previously on Lost S05E06 "316"

This episode is an almost entirely off-island episode which was very exciting and intriguing. Like all of season 5 episodes, it stayed to its origin in terms of epic scale, character progress and most of all its mythology.

The episode started within the The Lamp Post, a room in which the Dharma Initiative could locate the island. The room contains a big pendulum and a lot of nonsense formulas all over the place.Eloise Hawking was really creepy and powerful, the way she persuaded Jack on what he had to do to go back to the island. She tells Jack that he must bring something that belonged to his father with him on the flight and give him Locke's suicide note.

The Oceanic Six are all on a plane back to the island and incidentally Sayid,Hurley and Frank Lapidus were there too. The plane hits turbulence and there is a flash of white light similar to that caused by the time shifts.

Same old Lost, a lot of new questions about what's going on....

What are the repercussions ,the fact that Aaron did'nt appear to be on the flight ?

What the hell is with Ben?

Jin is in Dharma Initiative?

The next episode should be absolutely fantastic..."The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham".

previously on Heroes S03E16 "Building 26"

So far this episode was actually pretty interesting compare to the two previous episode.Much like everything in this season allegiances were born out of revenge(Mohinder,Peter,Matt),a quest to find his father(Sylar and Luke) and helping a new friend (Claire & Alex). The story seems to have taken a very different turn which seems to have been hit or miss in my opinion.

Now for a short recap, the story continues with Claire's mysterious messages from "rebel" telling her to help a new target who is Alex. Sylar is almost near in finding his dad. Later he found out that he was sold by his dad according to Luke who is some what annoying. Once again, Nathan is undecided if the heroes should be caged or experimented on.

In India, after saving Anna from his supposed to be husband Deepak, Hiro realizes that he can be a hero without powers. Probably the totally pointless part of the episode, Ando was kidnapped by an Indian guy with no powers. Their true mission was revealed later when Anna told them that the rebel left them a fax, informing them to save Matt Parkman.

In the last part, Noah was drugged and kidnapped by who else Matt,Peter and Mohinder.
Let's see what the next week brings...

NBA Trading Machine

Played the NBA trading machine in ESPN and was surprise to find out that Amare Stoudemire is worth 6 players to be acquired by my New Jersey Nets. See my trade scenario below

Amare was traded to the Nets for Josh Boone,Trenton Hassell, Yi Jianlian,Maurice Ager,Sean Williams and Stromile Swift. In according to the machine, the Nets projected win will be increase by 2 while the Phoenix Suns will be decrease by 4.

Try your own trade in ESPN's NBA Trade Machine

Shaq-A-Wockee

In his probably last appearance as an All-Star, Shaq dazzled the crowd as he dance with the Jabbawockeez during the the introduction. Shaq is hilarious and made the All Star awful weekend entertaining. In the end he was selected as co MVP with former teammate Kobe Bryant.

Standing Tall

Starting this season, the Finals MVP will receive the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP, commissioner David Stern announced last Saturday.

Russell anchored the Boston Celtics dynasty in the 60’s, a 5-time NBA MVP and won 11 championships as a player and a coach. But he never won the Finals MVP.

“Who better to name this prestigious award for than one of the greatest players of all time and the ultimate champion,” said Stern.

Probably next year

Lebron James announced on TNT during the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest that he wants to participate in the next season All Star Game in Dallas. In my opinion LBJ does’nt need this competition because he has already established himself in the league as a superstar.

Raising the Bar

Probably you've heard the news over the week that the Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit issue cover model is none other than Bar Refaeli. Apparently she is in a relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio way back in 2005 now that's the sad part. All that's left on us is to ogle at her pictures...

Friday Night Lights

Phoenix,AZ - Kevin Durant scored 46 points to lead the sophomores to a 122-116 victory over the rookies on Friday night and was named the games MVP. He surpassed the previous record 36 points that was set by Amare Stoudemire, way back in 2004. KD hit 17-25 shots from the floor, made 4-of-8 beyond the arc, made 8 free throws and grab 7 rebounds.

Unlike the past Rookie Challenge, this game was close until the final seconds. The Rookies led for most part of the game until KD closes it out with a 3-pt play against Rudy Fernandez, an emphatic dunk and two free throws to seal the victory.

Portland center Greg Oden missed the game with a sore left knee which he got last Thursday against GSW. The rookies losing skid now extends to seven. Michael Beasley led the rookies with
29 points on 11-of-22 shooting.

previously on Lost...S05E05 "This Place is Death"

I can't even describe how much i liked this episode. It delivers on every aspect:

emotional drama,
adventure,
revelations,
twists.

We finally get a brief history of Rousseau, how her team died on the sickness
that she mentioned last few seasons, and a new info on the smoke monster. Jin reunites with Sawyer and the gang after going to a lot of time flashes.

Locke takes the task to stop the violent time zapping in the island. He learned from Christian that he was the one who was supposed to move the island not Ben. The bad news is that Faraday lost the woman he loved.

The 0ceanic 6 are having conflicts getting to the island, although they are coming
closer and closer to making it to the island.

My question is who is Faraday's mother?

This episode contain pivotal plot points for basically every character. So far I believe this season of Lost has been amazing and I can only see it getting better

The team investigates deaths where the victims die faceless when all of their orifices are sealed. The team also discovers a manuscript, which explains the letters ZFT which is essentially a Bible to Jones and his followers.

Olivia is put to the test of her life after an unexpected turning of Mr Jones to the FBI who provides her with several tasks. The first task is to turn off a set of lights using only her mind. Jones says this is possible due a chemical present in her body.

Initially Olivia believes Jones is playing mind games with
her and refuses to cooperate, but eventually she is forced to disarm a bomb in the same manner and to her own disbelief, succeeds.
Nina Sharp called up Olivia
to confirm that the chemical was indeed tested at an army base her father was stationed at in her hometown. I love the last scene wherein it was revealed that Walter wrote the ZFT. Probably one of the best episode I've seen.

PBA Finals: Talk ‘N Text wins all-Filipino title

MANILA, Philippines – In the end, Talk ‘N Text showed its poise down the stretch then watched Alaska choke and self-destruct in the stretch.

Talk ‘N Text held on to beat a resilient Alaska side, 93-89, to claim the KFC Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup Wednesday in front of an overflow crowd at the Araneta Coliseum.

It was the Tropang Texters’ second all-Filipino crown after winning the 2003 edition and third overall title since winning the 1998 Centennial Cup, a special tournament put up to train the Philippine national team in time for the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand.

Mark Cardona, who was named the most valuable player in the best-of-seven championship series, led the scoring for Talk ‘N Text with 23 points.

It was also a fitting end to Tropang Texters owner Manny V. Pangilinan’s quest for a PBA title as he completed his own Triple Crown after Ateneo and San Beda, the other two teams he supported, won the UAAP and NCAA crowns.

Both teams battled like there's no tomorrow and exchanged shots as the game entered its final two minutes.

Ranidel De Ocampo, who nearly fumbled the ball, recovered and hit a mid-range jumper to knot the count for the last time at 89-89 time down to 2:14.

Talk 'N Text tightened up its defense at the other end resulting to a 24-second shotclock violation by Alaska.

In the next play, Harvey Carey scored underneath for a 91-89 Texters lead with 1:29 left.

That was when the Aces choked as Joe De Vance and best player of the conference Willie Miller missed their field goal attempts and free throws.

Jimmy Alapag sealed the win canning two charities for the final tally. – GMANews.TV

What really happened between Chris Brown and Rihanna

When they were walking “under the umbrella ella” to they car, she told him to “take a bow.”He was like ‘excuse me miss’ and then there was a “disturbia.”They got in the car and Chris brown tried to turn off the radio. Rihanna said "please don’t stop the music" he looked her and said "excuse me mama" "i had to say yooo". she said "shut up and drive". so he got MAD and choked her sayin you “cant breathe with "no air". He took her down, and hit her “from wall to wall.” He then decided to “run it”....maybe “forever-ever-ever.....”She was like I’ll “see you in rehab,”… “you’v been “unfaithful”

Claire received a text message from "rebel" to fight back Nathan and the government. Meanwhile Sylar continues the search for his father and team up with a new character name Luke.

TV Weekend Wrapped Up

Lost S05E04 The Little Prince

What I like in this episode is the change of pace in the storyline rather than focusing on one major story for a particular character, a lot of things are going on. So what really happens?

Kate discovers that someone knows that she is not in any way related to Aaron.Jack found out that someone is after Aaron too after Sayid was attacked in the hospital.Only to find out that it was Ben trying to take Aaron to make Kate go back to the island.

Meanwhile a lot of zappin' thru time occur for the people left in the Island.Locke saw the light, Sawyer saw Claire giving birth and what surprise me is that Jin is alive. What's interesting now is Jin met the younger Danielle Rousseau
.
BOTTOM LINE: "Revealing"

Fringe S01E13 The Transformation

This is the second time that a particular incident happen in a plane this time around a man transforms into a sort of a porcupine monster. Olivia and Peter track down a group of people who are linked to a biological weapon. They learn a lot of things about the group and one of which is that John is not the traitor people thought he was.

I'm not really sure but from the looks of it Olivia's memory problem is now resolved. What I like about this episode is that they found out whom John worked for and how he truly did and does love Olivia.

BOTTOM LINE: "Another Great Installment"

Heroes S03E14 A Clear and Present Danger I'm quite disappointed with this chapter 2 ("Fugitives") of the season. The main reason would be it's like the X-Men storyline in comics wherein they are hunted by the government because of their abilities. To cut the long story short most of our heroes were captured and taken to the plane. Claire on the other hand managed to escape the driver who'll take her home. Nathan was unaware that her daughter escaped watches as the plane lifts off.The plane goes out of control when Peter breaks free and attack the guards. Some major flaws of this episode include Parkman suddenly paint the future and how Sylar manage to escape the hunters. I just hope that the next episode will be better.

BOTTOM LINE: "Not my favorite storyline "

Chuck S02e12 Chuck vs. The Third Dimension

Chuck has to protect rock star Tyler Martin (played by Lost 'Dominic Monaghan'),who has some important tattoos with government secrets on them. As usual the incident turns to another cat and mouse chase for Chuck and the team.

Meanwhile at the Buymore Morgan finds the "Golden Ticket" from Tyler's cd and put up a competition for Jimmy,Lester and Jeff. The bottom line is resolution of Chuck's feeling about Sarah's cold blooded killing of the Fulcrum agent which unfolded at the end of the show. In a way his trust in Sarah is restored.

Not really the best episode but I love it when Chuck pretends to be part of Tyler's band
and he put on a fake accent. LOL And another reason is it's 3D!
