Movie Releases for the Month of February

Here's the new official list of movies coming out this month. Compare to the movies shown last month, but there are a couple interesting picks to watch out for including Shutter Island, Valentine's Day and Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief to name a few.Since this is the love month one might consider to watch romantic movies like the Yellow Handkerchief, Dear John and I Love You Phillip Morris.

Dear John

Starring:

Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried

John (an army man) and Savannah fall in love during an annual leave for John. The two write several letters to each other to keep in touch, but as the years pass by, everything starts to drift apart, including John's father, and the seemingly unbreakable bond between Savannah and John.

Starring: John Travolta, Jonathan Rhys Meyers

In Paris, a young employee (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) in the office of the US Ambassador joins forces with FBI Agent Charlie Wax (John Travolta) looking to stop a terrorist attack in the city. 





 

Valentines Day

Starring: Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates,Jessica Biel,Patrick Dempsey,Hector Elizondo,Jamie Foxx,Jennifer Garner,Topher Grace,Anne Hathaway,Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah,Julia Roberts,Taylor Swift

The movie deals with casually intertwining stories of the heart that take place over the course of one Valentine's Day.

 

Shutter Island

Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio,Ben Kingsley,Mark Ruffalo,Michelle Williams

In 1954, two duly-appointed U.S. marshals investigate the disappearance of a patient from a hospital for the criminally insane on an island in Massachusetts. They run into trouble when they are deceived by the hospital's chief administrator, a hurricane hits, and an inmate riot traps them on the island

 

Cop Out

Starring:  Bruce Willis,Tracy Morgan,Adam Brody,Kevin Pollak,Guillermo Diaz
Seann William Scott

Two veteran cops (Willis and Morgan) are tracking down a stolen vintage baseball card. On the chase, they rescue Gabriela , dealing with gangsters and their money laundering. 

So from a slew of movies perfect for Valentine's Day to a few great horror movies, hopefully you'll fall in love with some of the best upcoming movies of February 2010.
